Campaign for Better Transport is the independent campaigning voice seeking improvements to public transport for both environmental and social benefit in England and Wales. We are a small and dynamic national charity punching above our weight. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced partnerships specialist to join our team and lead on corporate funding as we look at future diversification and long term stability.
Campaign for Better Transport has a body of core and project funders worth £250,000 annually, including its Future Transport Consortium. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for both new business and management of existing accounts. This role oversees all relationships with businesses, delivers programme and partnership activities (against a set of criteria) and is responsible for prospecting and cultivating and securing new corporate partnerships.
This is a highly externally facing role, which will involve seeking opportunities to champion Campaign for Better Transport’s mission and vision with corporate partners to develop mutually beneficial partnerships and strong relationship management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive and will receive support from the campaigns team, press and media and consultancy. They will also be required to work with trustees and the organisation’s wider network as appropriate to harness their expertise and networks.
