If you’re involved in transport campaigning, you need to target your transport authority.

Who is your transport authority?

  • If you live in London, your transport authority is Transport for London
  • In non-metropolitan areas, it is the county council or unitary authority (which you can find on the Direct Gov website)
  • In metropolitan areas, the passenger transport executive (PTE) is responsible. There are six in England:
