I came to the Campaign for Better Transport from the Architects Benevolent Society where I was in the role External Relations Manager, overseeing all income and marketing streams and focusing on corporate giving. Prior to this I had been the Society's Communications Officer.
Previous to working for the ABS I worked for a charity called Umbrella on their Embracing Abilities programme, as an Activity Support Worker.
I hold a Countryside Leaders Award and am a Supervisor (working towards becoming an Assessor) for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award which takes up a lot of my spare time.
I come from an academic background of Geography and Sustainable Development; Environmental Psychology and have just completed a PG Dip in Development Studies at Birkbeck (UoL). Working for Campaign for Better Transport is a really natural step for me, taking my experience within the charity sector into a charity that campaigns for issues that are close to my heart.
