18 August 2011: Ever wanted to put your concerns direct to the Minister for buses? Well here is your chance. With a FREE vintage bus journey to London thrown in!
Early in the morning on the 6th September a vintage bus will travel from Nottingham to London, picking up passengers and delivering them to London for an afternoon meeting with Norman Baker. The journey is for a programme being made by BBC East Midlands which will be screened later this year. Anna Karen, who starred in ‘On the Buses’, will present the programme.
Seats on the bus are a hot ticket. You would be taken back on the bus to the East Midlands on the same day and the BBC will lay on food and drink for the journey. Pick up points are yet to be decided, but the BBC is happy to help with travel costs to these points. You would be welcome to bring a friend or a group of friends. Please do let others know who might be interested.
If you have questions or want to book a seat email me on Sophie.firstname.lastname@example.org
