B.A.T.A.G. is a voluntary organisation founded in 2000 and is based in the north of Bournemouth. Our aims are to listen to the travelling public within the Bournemouth and South East Dorset area, our motto being 'Helping The Travelling Public With Their Problems.'

B.A.T.A.G. responds to the travelling public's problems, deals with transport requests and also campaigns on all public transport issues. The group covers Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ringwood and South West Dorset.

Latest news

February 2014: Bournemouth Area Transport Action Group is working with bus companies in the area to deal with issues around pushchairs on buses. We are still looking for volunteers, in particular people who travel on public transport.

December 2011: Bournemouth Area Transport Action Group along with local councillors will be setting up a campaign entitled 'Getting the Right Bus, at the Right Place, at the Right Time'. This means having a double decker bus during busy routes and times of the day and single deckers on not-so-busy routes and times, each arriving in time to connect with other services.

March 2011: Bournemouth Area Transport Action Group are urgently looking for 'Volunteer Area Transport Customer Service Managers', also Group Members in all areas covered by the Group. If interested please contact Jeff (contact details above)
