Responding to the Chancellor's comments on RPI this morning, Darren Shirley, Chief Executive of Campaign for Better Transport, said:
"We welcome the Chancellor's acknowledgement that RPI is inaccurate; now we urge the Government to commit to replacing RPI for rail fare rises from January 2020 and not leave passengers waiting any longer."
