Government should learn from Merseyrail as it comes top of the Which? Annual Rail Survey

17 January 2017

Responding to the publication of the Which? Annual Rail Survey, James MacColl, Head of Campaigns at Campaign for Better Transport, said:

"It is no surprise that Southern came bottom of this survey, the franchise is now in complete meltdown and a fundamental overhaul is urgently needed. The time for the Government to sit on its hands is well and truly over and it should learn from Merseyrail, which came top, that devolution is the way forward for rail."
