East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership

East Suffolk Lines Community Rail Partnership logo

Area: Suffolk
Interests: Rail

The East Suffolk Line Community Rail Partnership is an association of local authorities, user groups, volunteers and train operator Greater Anglia which actively supports and encourages use of the Railways which run between Ipswich and Lowestoft and Ipswich and Felixstowe.

We have a Community Rail and Tourist Information Office on the main concourse at Lowestoft Central Station. Lowestoft Station is Britain’s most easterly, the terminus of the East Suffolk Line from Ipswich / London and Wherry Line from Norwich. Staffed by volunteers, our office usually* opens on Wednesdays and Fridays 11-3.

*Although we aim to open on these days we occasionally close - do get in touch if you plan to visit from any distance.
