Epping Forest Transport Action Group (EFTAG) - campaigning for better public transport and safer streets in Epping Forest.
After seeing numerous local campaigns to save bus and rail services, install pedestrian crossings, create a better cycle network and address dangerous/unsocial parking we decided that Epping Forest needed a body to address the underlying issues. We're an informal group of residents, service users and local councillors who support and promote individual campaigns while also liaising with relevant local authorities to do what we can to ensure that the needs of non-motorists are met.
With several thousand new homes proposed in the district it's more important than ever that our public transport and road networks are capable of providing safe, affordable, reliable alternatives to car use.
We meet monthly, usually on the second Wednesday, at The Space, Loughton Library, IG10 1HD. Please see our website or get in touch for full details.
