UnJam York was formed at the end of 2015 to combat the growing levels of congestion affecting York. As a historic city, York has limited road space which is already close to full with residents, commuters and tourists. UnJam York recognises the impact this congestion is having on the city in terms of economic losses, air pollution and pure lost time. Already we have formed a group to fight council cuts to buses, York Bus Forum, and have plans to soon form groups for walking and cycling, and traffic flow.
