Campaign for Better Transport has commented on the results of judicial reviews of High Speed 2, issued today by the High Court.
Stephen Joseph, Chief Executive, Campaign for Better Transport, said
"We need the passenger and freight capacity from HS2 to support the renaissance in our railways and cut congestion on the roads. But consultation and assessment have to be done properly. Government must ensure HS2 is an exemplar scheme in every regard."
