In response to Transport’s Focus Delay Repay Campaign, Darren Shirley, Chief Executive of Campaign for Better Transport, said:
"Delays, cancellations, and unreliable services are a serious concern for passengers relying on the railway to get from A to B on time. When things go wrong too many are missing out on compensation due to complex systems or a lack of information on how to claim. Ultimately, the reliability and punctuality of train services have to improve, and we need the coming reforms to the railways to ensure they deliver improvements."
