Londoners should have a say in capital’s rail services

26 November 2018

Responding to the publication today of the London Assembly Transport Committee report, Broken rails: A rail service fit for passengers, Darren Shirley, Chief Executive of Campaign for Better Transport, said:

“We welcome the publication of the London Assembly Transport Committee’s report on how to improve the capital’s rail services. Millions of Londoners rely on the city’s trains everyday and they should have a say in creating a rail network fit for purpose. The report echoes our own calls for more passenger involvement and we urge the Mayor, Transport for London and Network Rail to act on its recommendations as soon as possible.”
