Cambridge’s new transport strategy welcomed by campaign group

24 May 2016

Responding to the publication of Cambridge’s Transport Strategy, Stephen Joseph, Campaign for Better Transport’s Chief Executive, said:

“We welcome this new transport strategy as a way to further improve transport in the city.

"We are particularly pleased to see that the local councils are planning to introduce a workplace parking levy, an initiative which has already proved successful in Nottingham and something we have been promoting through our new thought leadership programme Tracks.

"We hope we can continue to work with the councils in the future to further improve the city’s transport.”
