Southeastern to compensate passengers for 15-minute delays: charity responds

Responding to the announcement that Southeastern passengers will be eligible for compensation if their train is delayed by 15 minutes, Darren Shirley, Chief Executive of Campaign for Better Transport, said:

"Passengers deserve reliable rail travel that gets them to work and other appointments on time. When this goes wrong, there should be fair compensation for all passengers that is quick and easy to claim. We welcome the roll-out of 15-minute Delay Repay compensation for Southeastern passengers as a step toward this being available right across the rail network."
