As Sustainable Transport Campaigner, Bridget works on roads policy, clean air, low carbon transport and related issues.
She came to Campaign for Better Transport from a leading planning public affairs agency, where she was an Account Director working on new homes and renewable energy. Prior to that, she had a career as a project manager in library and information technology, as well as serving for eight years as a frontbench councillor with a transport and environment brief. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a former board member of the European NGO Transport & Environment.
Bridget is a lifelong campaigner on environmental issues, from opposing gravel pits to introducing recycling schemes and improving road safety, and in 2006 won a National Transport Award for her local campaign work. Bridget joined Campaign for Better Transport at the end of 2015.
