It’s back! Better Transport Week 2025
Campaign for Better Transport has announced that this year’s Better Transport Week will take place from Monday 16 to Sunday 22 June.
Better Transport Week is the annual week-long celebration of sustainable transport that aims to promote the wide range of benefits of public transport, shared mobility, walking and cycling.
Last year more than 100 organisations supported the week including the Department for Transport, local authorities, transport industry, NGOs, businesses and passenger groups.
During the week, there will be public events, partner discounts and special offers, and industry events will give those working within the transport sector an opportunity to network and share transport best practice.
A highlight of the week is the Better Transport Conference which this year will take place on Friday 20 June at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The week is organised by Campaign for Better Transport. Paul Tuohy, Chief Executive of the charity, said:
“I’m very proud to say that this will be our third Better Transport Week and that it’s getting bigger and better each year with ever more opportunities for organisations, groups and individuals to get involved and help celebrate everything that’s good about public transport. Last year, we launched the first ever Better Transport Conference as part of the week. The Conference was hugely popular and I’m very pleased to be able to announce we will be running the conference again as part of this year’s week-long celebration of sustainable transport. Huge thanks to Manchester Metropolitan University for agreeing to host this special event.
