Corporate Supporters

Our Corporate Supporters are integral to our work enabling us to champion sustainable transport and advocate for investment and policies to improve the transport network.

Public transport is crucial to the country; it drives economic growth, connects people and commerce, and can help provide a planet fit for future generations. Campaign for Better Transport has been at the forefront of the drive to make transport more sustainable and reduce its negative impacts for more than half a century giving us a unique place within the transport sector and political sphere.

Our impact and reach:

  • We are a critical friend to government and industry, and a trusted, independent voice – respected, connected, and able to say what others cannot
  • We have an outsized media reach. Last year, our campaigns generated over 6,300 pieces of media coverage with a publicity value of £6.3 million and reached a potential audience of 271.1 million people
  • We bring together leaders from across the sector, with access to key decision-makers and real influence on policy and practice nationally, regionally and locally
  • We have a supporter base of almost 50,000 public transport users
  • We create space for honest conversations, help shape the future of transport and support partners to lead with credibility and purpose.

As a charity, everything we do is entirely funded by voluntary contributions, we do not receive any core funding from government, so corporate donations are vital to our existence.

There are four ways organisations can support our work. To find out more about becoming a Corporate Supporter, contact Brogan McPherson, Head of Partnerships, at brogan.mcpherson@bettertransport.org.uk.

Our partnership with our Corporate Champions is critical to our effective and successful advocacy for increased investment in public transport.
