Withdrawing Day Travelcards will be ‘a step backwards’, says transport charity
Responding to the news that Transport for London is exploring the option to withdraw Day Travelcards, Norman Baker at Campaign for Better Transport said:
“Public transport works best when you can use one ticket for your whole journey. Withdrawing Day Travelcards, would be a step backwards, reducing the availability of integrated ticketing, which we know improves passenger experience.”
