David Buchan

Treasurer

David Buchan is a chartered accountant and spent most of his career in central government finance, including several years as Group Financial Controller at the Department for Transport. Since leaving government, he has obtained a Masters in Charities Financial Management and Accounting and is now on his second post-early retirement job in the charity sector. He has experience as a trustee/ treasurer of charities in other fields. His interest in and understanding of the foibles of the transport system has been formed by a lifetime of commuting by train, tube and (long ago, when it was possible) rural bus.
