Greening social care: a just transition to cleaner transport
Transport is the biggest contributor to UK greenhouse gas emissions. To achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050 in a way that is fair and inclusive, particular support will need to be given to low-paid, car-dependent workers, with a prime example being home care workers.
Supported by UNISON, this report looks at how home care workers can be helped to transition to greener, cheaper transport.
