Funding for Zero Emission Buses: charity reacts
22 March 2024
Welcoming the announcement by the Government of the councils that will receive a share of £143 million for Zero Emission Buses, Silviya Barrett of Campaign for Better Transport said:
“This is welcome news for communities around the country, and it’s heartening to see rural communities being prioritised. Clean, modern, accessible buses for all, including in often-overlooked rural areas, will be important to achieving a greener, fairer transport system.”
